My husband and I went to Maryam for assistance with a very difficult immigration case. We had talked to several Immigration Law experts prior to finding Maryam, and it was one bad experience after another. Fortunately, we found Maryam and she helped us file a petition for the Provisional Waiver. In order to receive this provisional unlawful presence waiver, the applicant (my husband) needed to prove that “me” his U.S. citizen spouse would suffer “extreme hardship”. Maryam did such an exceptional job in organizing and detailing all of our supporting documentation for extreme hardship, that my petition was approved!
However, this didn’t mean the process was over. The next step was for my husband to leave the country to attend his visa interview in Caracas, Venezuela. There was no guarantee of successful return, since the consular officer adjudicating his case (at the interview) could deny it based on discretionary determination. I still remember the day my husband left to his interview. I said goodbye not knowing if he would return. My child and I were very emotional. Personally, I was terrified that his visa would be denied and then be placed into removal deportation proceedings. When expressing my fears to Maryam, she always remained positive, optimistic and confident that my husband’s visa would be approved, and that’s exactly what happened! Maryam’s competence is outstanding! Despite the odds she prepared and handled my case with the utmost professionalism. She is truly the best and the only one I can trust if I ever need legal assistance again. If you are looking for someone with an extraordinary work ethic, who is trustworthy, focused and dedicated, I recommend Maryam.
Maryam, I can’t thank you enough!
After working with three other attorneys on my quite complicated legal case, I consulted Maryam Kia. She spent plenty of time on my initial evaluation of my case and even spent her time consulting with other parties involved. Her patience and knowledge alone made me want to stay with her. I am very pleased I did as she won my case.
I have used the law office of Maryam Kia more than once for my immigration and I would never hesitate to refer these legal services to anyone. Finding people whom you can trust is almost impossible today. So if you’ve ever been in a situation where you really needed a lawyer, then u know what I’m talking about. Maryam Kia is highly ethical, highly experienced, very knowledgeable and professional. The fee was very reasonable and affordable. She is always on top of deadlines and keeps me updated on my status. I cannot recommend a better attorney.
Maryam helped my. Wife and I, with a breach of contract between PG&E.. They tried to stall and wear us down, but Maryam did not quit or back down..! She made it happen for us..
I would use her again in a heart beat..!! Maryam also kept us well informed on the progress..
Thanks Again Maryam..!!
Maryam is an excellent attorney she helped my wife and I through this whole immigration process starting with the advance parole and ending with my my green card. Smooth process and super fast I would recommend her to anyone and if you’re looking for a good lawyer she’s the best fit besides being professional, she’s super friendly and down to earth! Thank you for all your help it’s been a pleasure working with you! 🙂
I consulted her when I was told to appear for a second green card interview and I received a top class service.
With her experience and strong attention to details, she read between the lines and left no stone unturned to figure out the best way to tackle my problem. The first time I spoke to her I felt I was in safe hands.
We worked together to assemble the necessary documents needed for the interview. At the interview she was really smart and knew when to intervene; her presence brews confidence. My application was approved that day! She’s the best in town!
Maryam Kia is great – she’s very knowledgeable about immigration and very professional. She always keeps me posted on the status of the case/petition. I don’t get the impression that she’s out to nickel and dime me, the way I’ve felt about other attorneys that I’ve worked with.
Maryam was well informed, direct and efficient. I was able to get my permanent resident card quicker than I expected and with little work on my end.
Though Maryam Kia markets herself as an immigration attorney and is very good at, she also represents people for consumer credit representation.
I had two past due credit accounts that I wanted to take care of and when I sold my home in the Spring of 2014, I was ready to get them taken care of with the proceeds of that sale. Maryam was ready when I was and promptly settled the two accounts I had for 42 cents on the dollar and her fee was a flat rate of $500. My creditors were happy and I’m happy.
Maryam has also helped my clients settle their accounts and she’s the person I recommend for credit-related issues. Highly recommended!
Fast and efficient!!!! I didn’t even have to lift a finger. Maryam took care of business!!!! Hope I never need legal help again but if I do, I know who I’m turning to!!!
